About Me

I am Javad Asghari, a PhD candidate in flight dynamics and control engineering at K. N. Toosi University of Technology. My research is centred on intelligent control allocation for over-actuated systems, utilising Fuzzy Systems, Neural Networks, and Game Theory, with a focus on practical applications in aerospace and renewable energy.

Beyond research, I am passionate about mentoring students and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to solve complex problems using intelligent approaches.

Feel free to connect with me for potential collaborations or to discuss research in Intelligent Control Systems, Control Allocation, Over-actuated Systems, Trajectory Tracking, and Game Theory.

Professional Experience

Research Assistant

2021 - 2022

Aerospace Engineering Department, Sharif University of Technology

  • Developing a state-space model of wind turbine tower dynamics using the Finite Difference Method (FDM)
  • Design a Model Predictive Control (MPC) strategy to actively mitigate tower top vibrations, demonstrating significant vibration reduction while maintaining structural safety constraints

Teaching Assistant

2022 - Present

Aerospace Engineering Department, K. N. Toosi University of Technology, Tehran, Iran

  • Automatic Control: Taught classical control fundamentals—including the Routh-Hurwitz stability criterion, Root-Locus analysis, and state-space modelling—to over 100 undergraduate students, with hands-on lab sessions on PID tuning.
  • Control Systems Design: Designed course materials on optimal control, noise analysis, actuator dynamics, and Kalman filtering, with applications in satellite and quadrotor dynamics.
